"Little Women" the Broadway Musical

Holmes Center for the Arts is back with its first musical since 2019---the classic “Little Women”.  The musical is based on Louisa May Alcott’s life and follows the story of four adventurous sisters---Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested.  Her friend, Professor Bhaer, tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself.  Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America. 

Jaime White, HCA’s music director, is directing the musical of 20 local cast members.  “Little Women” is set to be performed at Ohio Star Theater July 9th at 6:30, July 10th at 2:00 and 6:30 and July 11th at 2:00.  Tickets may be purchased by calling 855-344-7547 or by visiting www.holmescenterforthearts.org.    Tickets are $24 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under.
